When we got outside, it became a season when we often see cherry blossoms.

Yesterday, I went to a place with my wife at a distance of about three stations. We walked a distance of a station, and took a bus at a distance of two station. We walked for health, for walking around the city on a springlike day

It was a nice and warm day, but cherry blossoms were not yet in full bloom in my home town. That is good as it is. We can enjoy cherry blossoms for a while.

Speaking of cherry color, there are many people who imagine thin pink. I am one of them. But if we look good, it is not so. Some may look white, others may seem dark pink.

I knew that what seemed to be dark was not Somei Yoshino. It was a typical variety of sakura. (Cherry Blossom is called `sakura’ in Japan. ) I thought what seemed to be dark might be Shidare or Kawazu. It was easy to see that these varieties looked different from Somei Yoshino.

Meanwhile, we were talking that the difference in color of Somei Yoshio came from sunlight In other words, we were thinking that the cherry tree not in dark pink was only Yoshino cherry tree in our concept, and the difference in color of cherry blossom petals was due to the location where Somei Yoshino was planted.

I happened to see an tag of varieties on the branch.

Beniyutaka? I’ve never heard that before. We looked at each other.

After that, we were walking while watching the tag. Then we noticed that there were several unknown names. We found out immediately, so I learned that the types of cherry blossoms were over 600. Higanzakura, Kanhizakura … Came to think of it, I have heard it.

I had superficial knowledge for the national flower cherry blossoms. But I learned a lot

PS. From my personal point of view, I think that the best season for you to visit Japan is in late March and around October to November. The former is the best time to see the cherry blossoms. The later is the best time for eating.(Autumn is a harvest time when a lot of best foods are available. So in Japan we say, “Autumn fills up our bellies.”) And,their common point is that the weather is nice without hot and cold.
