When I started watching my son’s soccer, I had a lot of opportunities to drink from the daytime. (Drinking from the daytime is called `hirunomi’ in Japan.) It was a good way to deepen the engagement while basking in the afterglow of watching the game with other spectators.
The number of times has decreased after my son retires, but I still keep watching the game and continue hirunomi.
Well, last Sunday, my son’s `kouhai’(= they joined the soccer club later than he did) had the official game. I went to the match venue after a long time.
The match was done as a 1st and was finished before 11am. I had a little bit cold, so I decided not to drink today, and went to lunch with old friends. We happened to see the Denny’s sign and entered the restaurant.
Using the menu, we could drink a cup of liquor with a plate of nibble at 500 yen without tax. This was a great deal.
I decided not to drink today, and I opened the menu on the other page. And back the page. It seems that my friends would do it because they heard that I would not drink. But they did like me. They also turned over the next page, and also return the page. ‘Shall we drink only 500 yen?’ I said. They all replied easily, ‘ Let’s do it. ‘
Though we recognized that it did not end in one cup, we dabbled in the set. This set was a set like Satan. It was not a set per person, and we cloud order it again and again.
After all, we ended up having three sets (three cups of liquor and three plates of nibble) per person. `Horo-deni’, it was a really bittersweet set.
Horo of Horo-deni is an omission of Horo-yoi, which means tipsy. Bittersweet meanｓ `Horo-nigai’ in Japanese.
Last Sunday, I went for a walk with my wife as usual.
Though I’ve written before, I have a feeling that this blog has become a report of my weekend spent. Is that true I go out with my wife? There is a reader (=my friend) who says that it is a fiction, too. He is afraid that I direct we’ve been happily married. I don’t know whether it’s happily or not, but it is true that when we go out on weekends, it’s almost ‘ two ‘.
On last Saturday, we had a drinking party with our mutual friends. We drank too much. The day after that was Sunday. Our face were puffy and our bodies were felt dull. So we went out for a week to pass bad ones from our bodies. It was too late for us to wake up in such a condition. We usually go out for a walk before noon, but we were late for this Sunday.
We walked along the bank and crossed the river. We decided a goal was the commercial facility about 5 kilometers ahead on that day. This route was a repeated way to walk. However, we would see a different scenery and a different spectacle if the season and time differed on the same road.
The Oden shop had a long line in front. It was a just season when they wanted to eat oden.
The types of Japanese pickles that were lined up in the storefront were also different from early fall.
We did not hang around on the outward. We kept walking to the goal anyway. We arrived there with a little sweat. We seemed to pass bad ones from our bodies considerably.
We entered the pet shop in the facility. It was her routine. She was an unmatched cat lover. After that, we bought the family winter clothes and took a break at the coffee shop.
It seemed that the sun was already getting dark outside. The sweets sold at the coffee shop caught our eyes ,but we resisted them and left there. We must pass out from our bodies completely.
I knew that we would have dinner together alone on this day. Then, we were thinking about preparing dinner without our efforts. Sunamachi Ginza was waiting for us.
The Nukazuke(=a kind of Japanese pickles) being on my mind On the way there ,we bought a radish and a turnip each one by 315 yen. We bought 4 kinds of sashimi by 1080 yen in a fish store that has already started closing. The smell of Yakitori made us hungry, so we bought two chicken lever skewers, two skin skewers, and two chicken cartilage skewers. I had faint memory how much.
I happened to see a special feature of `kakuuchi’ (the liquor store where the customer paid money and drank) on TV. And I went there with my wife yesterday on Sunday.
We also decided to go to Ebisu because the shop which had been featured in the program was by chance there. More than 25 years have passed since we got married, and we have never been to Ebisu, and that was one reason.
Checking `kakuuchi’ ,I found that there were two types in the shop which did it. One was the type of standing space in the liquor store. It was originally. Standing drink called ‘kakuuchi’ is to drink standing in a liquor store selling liquor from the first. The other is the type of a Japanese bar which was conscious of the standing drinking form.
The request from my wife was a shop not far from the station to drink wine. I thought that she felt hesitant to enter a liquor shop just like `kakuuchi’. In addition, yesterday was blowing cold wind in Tokyo. I thought that it was not possible to endure to walk for a long time in the cold for her who got cold very easily.
Because the shop was in a shopping center called `atre’ adjacent to the station. The location was very good. We could drink wine besides sake. Was it just in the afternoon that we arrived? It was Sunday, it was daytime, and Nobody working for the company was in it, so the guest was only one except us.
The situation was good for us. Because we had visited without knowledge, we wanted to observe in the shop, and wanted to talk to a store clerk. We would not get away with that in a crowded store.
We had a glass of wine and a plate of nibbles for each. We looked at the price and the menu, and we felt that was suitable. We enjoyed every bite and relaxed. I thought it was right.
The first `kakuuchi’.
I’ll try to be a bit more heavy next time.
Yesterday, I walked with my wife around Hibiya and Ginza, which was strictly guarded because of visiting Japan of The President of the United States.
Because we thought that the color of the ginkgo leaf might be beautiful soon, we went to Hibiya Park first. We bought sandwiches and drinks at the Sukiyabasi and arrived there at around noon. In addition to fine autumn weather, we felt good in the colored trees.
We stood still for the “purple stride 2017” event which was done just in the garden.
I know for the first time that this event started as part of the activity of pancreatic cancer eradication was 7th this year. For the pink color of breast cancer, it might be the purple color of pancreatic cancer.
We were supposed to give them a once-over ,but we were attracted to Awa dances and gospel concerts. After that, we sat down on the bench and ate the sandwiches which we bought admiring the autumn color ,and left the Hibiya Park
We went to the apparel shop along the central street in Ginza where the policemen were standing in the corner of the city. I went out with my wife’s shopping. That shop’s name was ZARA. It was overseas capital to expand a dozen stores in Tokyo. She was said to use often this shop in a lot of goods of a reasonable price range. We stayed at this store for over an hour, crowded to try on.
Early in the evening.
Deciding ‘ only one glass ‘, we drank beer in the neighboring beer hall called `Ginza Lion’. As we looked back on today’s events, we drank a glass of beer with a dish of salmon and left the hall.
Ours Sundays were all the same in the state of being pompous.
